There are 100s of Apps on your device’s store. You’ll probably not be able to live without a few of them from Facebook to Snapchat, Just Eat to Netflix; there’s one for pretty much everything. Here at AMA we like to think we’re pretty up-to-date with the latest apps so we thought we’d share our knowledge and favourite apps out there.

Dark Sky – Dark Sky is the most accurate source of hyperlocal weather information. With down-to-the-minute forecasts, you’ll know exactly when the rain will start or stop, right where you’re standing.
 
Evernote – Evernote gives you access to your information when you need it. Input typed notes or scan handwritten notes. Add to-do’s, photos, images, web pages, or audio and it’s all instantly searchable! Evernote syncs across your devices so your information is always with you, everywhere you go.
 
Shazam – Shazam is one of the world’s most popular apps, used by more than 100 million people each month to identify music, get song lyrics, and now to discover the music that artists discover themselves.
 
IGTV – IGTV is different from your typical video experience. It’s built for how you actually use your phone, so videos are full screen and vertical. And IGTV videos aren’t limited to one minute, which means you can see more of your favorite content.
 
Wish – Style doesn’t have to be expensive. Wish is a mobile shopping app that lets you shop over 100 million high-quality items at 60-90% off!
 
Tab  Tab is the simple way to split a bill among friends. Snap a pic of the receipt and tap your items to claim them. Tax and tip are calculated for you!
 
Slack  Slack is the premier messaging app for teams and companies. It is compatible with dozens of other apps (like Dropbox) to make your job easier.
 
Nike Training Club – Nike’s free workout app is full of familiar faces. Celebrities and world-class athletes. The app also allows you to track your exercise and sync with social media.
 
YouTube Music – YouTube’s music streaming service provides music playlists and recommendations based on your taste in music, location, and time of day.
 
Nintendo Switch Online – The Nintendo Switch allows you to check game-specific services invite friends to play with you via social media, and use voice chat while gaming.
 
Pandora – Pandora uses music science to create stations around a song or artist. You tell it what you like and what you hate. It learns.
 
RESY – Resy helps you find the best restaurants around your area. You can browse under different filters such as: location, meal type or use the search tool to make reservations!
 
Uptime – Group video chat and watch YouTube together with your friends! Uptime lets you share and watch YouTube together, in sync and in real time, while chatting together over video.
 
Waze – Waze tells you instantly about traffic, construction, police, crashes, & more. If traffic is bad on your route, Waze will change it to save you time.
 
SnapSeed – You can do image editing right from your phone, to make it look as good as possible. It’s a great way to get your pictures Instagram-perfect!
 
Mint – Need to save money for an upcoming trip, pay down a loan, or figure out how you overspent so much last month last much? We recommend Mint as it gives you tools to set budgets, lets you break down spending by category, and offers reminders for upcoming bill all in one place!
 
CityMapper – Should you find yourself in one of the supported cities (including Paris, London, New York and Berlin), you’ll be grateful to have Citymapper on your iPhone! The app finds where you are and then gets you from A to B, whether you want to walk, grab a taxi, or use public transport.
 
Sky Guide – It shows you the locations of stars, planets, and constellations through an AR-like interface. Simply point the phone in any direction, and your display will show you the names of the stars and planets that you can see!
 
Untappd – if you’re a beer drinker, then this one’s for you. Discover great  beers, breweries and venues and share them with your friends, whilst earning badges for trying new beers.
 
Cryptoninsight – This can be used to check the market cap and currently value of bitcoin and various altcoins in various currencies including GBP and USD
 
30 Day Fitness Challenge – Want to get fit but lacking the motivation? Use the frequently updated workouts and exercises to guide you to get the body you want. Investing minutes of your day for 30 days to tone your body and lose that extra christmas weight.
 
Shpock – One of the most downloaded selling apps, Shpock allows you to buy or sell from the comfort of your home without the hassle of transaction fees. With everything from phones to furniture, books to games consoles, there’s something for everyone.
 
Calm  – Apple’s 2017 App of the Year, calm is the app for mindfulness and meditation bringing more clarity, joy and peace to your daily life. Sleep better and reduce your anxiety with guided meditation, breathing programmes and relaxing music.
 
Bitmoji – Ever fancied making yourself into a cartoon avatar and then using the stickers everywhere? Well now you can with Bitmoji, linking up with Snapchat, iMessage and Facebook Messenger you can add yourself into any message.
 
IsItVegan? – A tool for anyone that’s interested in eliminating animal products from their diet. Allowing you to scan the barcode of the item and you’ll know instantly if the product is Vegan or not.
 
 
MeetUp – Bringing people together with shared interests in your city. Organized round one idea, that when we get together and do the things that matter to us, we’re at our best.
 
Sweatcoint – This app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, services and experiences by giving you coins for your steps. It’s simple; the more you walk, the more you earn.
 
ChopChop – Created by Sainsbury’s, you can now get food, drink and household essentials delivered from the store to your door in just 60 minutes. Add a minimum of 25 products and away you go.
 
MyFitnessPal – Whether you want to lose weight, tone up get healthy or change your daily habits then MyFitnessPal will allow you to keep track of what your eating and tot it all up so you know how to reach those goals. Scan the barcode of products and the huge database will tell you it’s nutritional information.
 
LastPass – keeps you protected by creating and storing ‘strong’ passwords. Have them all under one master password and keep them secret. creating these passwords will ensure it’s much harder for your logins to be stolen.
 
Buffer – Save time and manage all your social media in one place. It simply allows you to schedule posts and track the performance on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and many more. Login in once and you’ve access to all your accounts.
 
Checklist – Get your life under control with the ultimate app for getting things done. Set your goals for the day and collaborate with friends and family to ensure you’re all on track. Adding videos, audio and photos means everything is under one roof.
